'des Ecoles' - the old village post house
with the roof falling in, the walls in ruin and having been empty for some time, this project was split into several stages:
reconstruction & renovation : interior architecture : redecoration : exterior design
this former post house now relives and is now very much loved by its new family .. not surprising, the results are quite beautiful.
the old passage where the horses were kept has been transformed into this cosy garden where family & friends can relax.
the old entrance and shower room are now this beautiful kitchen and breakfast area. the beams were discovered & renovated during the construction work.
a truely fabulous family room. the roof was replaced (what was left of it) & it was redesigned as a study, tv room & games room .. set up the monopoly, grab a G&T, put your feet up !
